Dog owners are required to purchase an annual licence for every dog they own from their parish of residence by 31st of January. The license fee is £5 per dog. If the form and payment – available from your parish office – is submitted after this date a further £5 per dog is assessed. Certified hearing or guidance dogs over the age of 6 months are exempted from the license fee.
Jersey is divided into 12 parishes including Trinity that boasts the island’s highest elevation and highest point at Les Platons. Located in northeastern Jersey, Trinity is perhaps the most rural of all the parishes.
At 4.2 square kilometres, St Clement is the smallest but second most populated parish.
