Explore one of the most important Neanderthal sites in North-west Europe.
Join Geopark Guide, Nicky Mansell in Ouaisné carpark to discover a story of climate change, migration and archaeology. Journey across the beach, and if the tide and conditions allow scramble over the foreshore, to the foot of La Cotte de St Brelade to find out about the Neanderthals who used this site for almost 200,000 years, hunting Woolly Rhinoceros and Mammoth across the now hidden coastal plain.
This walk should take around 2 hours - 2 hours 30 minutes and is medium difficulty.
