The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is a partnership between Children Services, States of Jersey Police, Health and Social Services, Department for Education and Family Nursing and Home Care to Safeguard children and young people in Jersey. The MASH also works closely with other organisations such as Housing, NSPCC, Youth Service. If a child or young person is thought to have been hurt or could be hurt in the future, MASH will refer the child and family to the Children Initial Response Team (CIRT) within Children Services for an assessment. Information will also be given to the Police if necessary to help stop or solve a crime.
