Seeking to raise awareness and improve understanding of dementia throughout Jersey.
Formed April 2010

The Jersey Alzheimer's Association (JAA) was formed in April 2010. It offers a range of services aimed at supporting Island residents who are affected by dementia in any sort of way.  JAA provides support, advice and information to the community on Alzheimer's and dementia. Over the last 3 years, the association has seen a 78% increase in the amount of people seeking support, including the families, friends and carers of affected individuals. 

 

JAA offfers a counselling and family support service as well as a number of community activities and a weekend Saturday day care centre. It provides education and awareness sessions to schools, community groups, local companies and organisations.

 

The Jersey Alzheimer's Association is registered with the Jersey Financial Services Commission and the Association of Jersey Charities (AJC) No 359. The association is a full and active member of ALZHEIMER EUROPE.
