The Jersey Kidney Patients Association (JKPA) was incorporated in Jersey in 1988 and are registered with the Royal Court of Jersey under the Law “Loi (1862) sur les teneures en Fidéicommis  et  l’Incorporation d’Associations” our Charity No is 736J.

We are also registered with, and regulated by, the Jersey Financial Services Commission as a 'None Profit Making Organisation' (NPO) and have the NPO No. 0120.

JKPA was founded to support, both financially and emotionally, kidney patients living in Jersey. In 1988 there were four haemodialysis patients attended by one part time nurse, supported by the services of the Renal Teams from St Mary’s Hospital Portsmouth, who visited the Island when needed.

• The JKPA has the ability to fundraised and accept donations
• The money the JKPA raises is distributed on a discretionary basis following an application by a kidney patient or their carers
