FAULKNER FISHERIES

is an independently Family owned Group of Companies buying and selling Live, Fresh, Cooked, Smoked, Frozen, Dried and Preserved Seafood in Jersey, the other Channel Islands and France

THE VIVIER

The ‘Vivier’ is nestled inside an old WW2 German bunker at L’Etacq in St Ouen. This is where we store our live local shellfish which include lobsters, crabs, spider crabs, oysters and much more. The Vivier also holds local fish, imported fish, smoked and frozen seafood. The Vivier team, led by my son Christian prepare the fish and promptly deliver to local restaurants, hotels and supermarkets. We also have a shop format where locals and tourists can take home fish and enjoy with a bottle of wine that we sell here. The Vivier is the home of our famous seafood BBQ that runs through the warmer months of the year.

We also have a depot at La Collette in St Helier where all the Bulk Frozen Seafood is stored for onward sale to Local Catering Establishments. We also have ice making facilities, chilled facilities and dry storage.

THE MARKET

My Poissonnerie is housed inside the Historic Beresford Fish Market in the center of St Helier, with the famous Victorian Central Market just over the road. Here I have the opportunity to display all of our wonderful Seafood (fresh, live, frozen, smoked, dried and preserved), where another expert team prepares and fillets your Seafood in front of you.

SUMMER BBQ

The famous Seafood BBQ at L’Etacq, St Ouen is very popular with Locals and Tourists. Here my dedicated team simply prepare Barbequed Seafood straight from the sea to you. Amongst other Homemade ingredients, my wife Louise make’s our own signature local Garlic Butter (using Jersey Butter of course!) and you can sit around the Vivier Al Fresco on Sean’s Beach, Pinnacle Beach or up on Vivier Panorama and enjoy a glass of chilled Wine or Beer whilst taking in the magnificent view’s across the five miles of Golden sands of St Ouen’s Bay and surrounding islands.
