Lino Cutting Workshop with Kerry-Jane Warner

Join The Jersey National Trust to Try your hand at the gentle art of lino cutting on this one day workshop with artist Kerry-Jane Warner.

Starting with a demonstration of basic lino cutting techniques. You will be given a practice block to try out the tools before you set to work on your finished piece. Some time will be spent drawing inspiration in the walled garden or from the images provided. Then you will be shown how to transfer your image to the block. Later in the day, you will be shown how to ink up your block, how to burnish prints by hand and apply colour using the chine collé method. You will take home clear instructions, information and the tools to continue your printmaking adventure as well as your finished masterpiece!

The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience.
