After an outstanding afternoon last year, The Glorious Goodwood Garden Party returns on Friday 2nd August 2019 where we welcome you to join on the terrace of the L’Horizon Hotel for a fun-fuelled afternoon of the finest racing with a Garden Party twist.

Similarly to Royal Ascot, Glorious Goodwood, is one of the premier days in the racing calendar. We are combining this significant event with a sparking reception, delicious BBQ luncheon, strawberries and cream - with post-racing acoustic entertainment gliding us into the evening - only a stone’s throw away from St Brelades Bay, in producing the perfect summer’s afternoon. Racing done the al fresco way!!

In creating this event, we have teamed up with The Lady Taverners, who play an integral part in improving the lives of children with learning disabilities and Beresford Kitchen who provide training and employment for adults with learning disabilities and autism.

We have tailored the perfect summer's afternoon, which includes:

- Sparkling Reception - Ease into the afternoon with a glass of bubbles.

- A Sumptuous Two Course BBQ Luncheon - A variety of BBQ options and salads have been chosen to cater for all tastebuds.. And not forgetting the Strawberries and Cream/Pavlova to finish!

- All Seven Races Live on The Terrace - Large Outdoor screens and continued coverage means you won't skip a stride.

- On-site Betting - We have a licensed bookmaker present so you will be able to place bets on the racing without leaving the terrace.

- The Lady Taverners and Beresford Street Kitchen Silent Auction - We are very proud to host the event in association with both Charities. Premier prizes have been generously donated and all proceeds go to a tremendously rewarding cause.

- Live Music - We've arranged some top notch acoustics courtesy of "Acoustic Shock" to keep you entertained as we welcome in the weekend.
