Join battlefield researchers Phil and Kimberley on a day tour of key WWII sites, all of which are bunkers not open to the public. They will show you how Jersey was made into an impregnable fortress and share with you stories from the battles, raids, escapes and resistance. The tour is a perfect complement to understanding the history of D-Day, which took place less than 30 miles away. Digital Multimedia is used and we give you the chance to handle real WWII weapons and artefacts.
All daytime tours start from the royal square in town, we recommend you being there before 08:45. The weather can be unpredictable in Jersey so dress in layers. There is a moderate amount of walking involved so please wear sensible shoes. The tour will be run in all weather conditions.
