The COVID-19 Vaccination Programme is moving into Phase 2

Vaccine Appointments announced for 40-49 years olds

 

Phase 2 of the roll out to Islanders. From Saturday, April 10 at 12:00, 45-49-year olds can book their appointments to receive their first dose from Sunday, 11 April. Followed by 40-44 year olds, who can also book their appointments from Monday, 12 April to attend from Wednesday, 14 April.

 

Islanders are encouraged to book online and to not delay as their group becomes eligible.

 

Islanders can find information on the COVID-19 vaccine online which lists common side effects of the vaccine to include:

  • Pain at injection site

  • Tiredness

  • Headache

  • Muscle pain

  • Chills

  • Joint pain

  • Fever

Second doses will continue to be rolled out alongside first dose appointments. For those who are eligible, vaccination appointments can be made online at gov.je/vaccine. When booking appointments ensure the following information is available: name, address, phone number, social security number, date of birth.
